At AdRem we recognise the importance of excellent design management to successful delivery of engineering projects. We have key resource that brings substantial Design Authority and Design Management experience to support our clients. This includes management of large professional multi-disciplinary teams, sentencing of design and engineering issues, and effective use of design development and control management processes.
Our definition of Design Authority Responsibilities provides a valuable checklist for reviewing the efficacy of design management arrangements with our clients. We use generic a Design Process, outlined below, as our default model is outlined below, although we also work with client’s specific design process management models.
Our skill is to understand the essence of the technical input from each specialist area. We do not replace the professional expertise of discipline based engineers. Instead we assist these specialists in understanding the inputs and constraints generated by other design areas, and lead the technical integration.
